Irene
attended the Marist Grammar School in Chorlton, Manchester. She then
read Law at Manchester Metropolitan University, where she also studied
for the Law Society Finals (Solicitors exams).
Irene qualified as a solicitor in October 1995.
She has worked almost exclusively at Hill and Company Solicitors since
her qualification, working her way up the ranks to achieving the status
of Principal of the practice in February 2002.
She specialised in Matrimonial Law and Personal Injury and was a member of the Family Law Panel . She is now the practice Principal spending her time running the business.
In her spare time, Irene enjoys skiing, travelling, eating out and socialising with friends. She completed a London to Paris charity cycle ride in June 2009.
John attended Wythenshawe Technical High School in Manchester. He then studied for an external London University Law degree at Liverpool University. He studied for his Law Society finals whilst being articled at a firm of Solicitors.
Having completed articles (training to be a solicitor), John worked at
a Stockport firm of Solicitors where he became a Partner. He then
worked at Abney Garsden Solicitors from 1999 and remained with them in
their non-contentious department for 5 years.
John joined Hill
and Company Solicitors in November 2004 as a senior member of
staff .
He has experienced most areas of law. However, he has for a number of
years specialised exclusively in Wills and Probate.
In his spare time John helps as a volunteer at Freshfields Farm, a donkey sanctuary at Peak Forest, which is the home of the Michael Elliot Trust.
Laurence attended De la Salle College, Salford.He then read Law at Manchester University where in 1972 he achieved a Bachelor Degree with Honours. (LLB Hons).
He was articled to O`Collier Littler & Kilbeg, in Urmston, Manchester and qualified as a Solicitor in 1977 and remained there after qualification.
Throughout his career, Laurence has specialised in private client work. With almost 30 years experience in commercial and residential conveyancing. He is clearly an expert.
Laurence joined Hill & Company in June 2002. He now heads up the Residential and Commercial Law departments.
In his spare time Laurence enjoys history, literature and football.
Sabeela attended Levenshulme High School following which she completed her Law Degree and Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Sabeela completed her training at Rozita Hussain solicitors and began her legal career at Shoosmiths in Reading.
Moving back to Manchester she worked as a Personal Injury solicitor working for Whittles from 2001.
Sabeela started working at Hill and Company Solicitors in December 2002.
Having two children limits time for hobbies but Sabeela enjoys socialising with friends and also enjoys travelling

Denise did Social Science at Sheffield obtaining an Honours Degree in 1990. She attended Wolverhamton University to complete her solicitors professional exams and the Law Society finals in 1993.
Denise married and started a family and obtained part time articles in 1999, qualifying as a solicitor in 2004. Denise has always had a keen interest in family law and has pursued this area of law throughout her career and is now extremely experienced in Family Law.
Denise enjoys reading, attending the gym and eating out.
Hayley attended Great Sankey High School in Warrington. She then completed a law degree and Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University, obtaining a 2:1 and Commendation in her Legal Practice Course in 2007.
Hayley joined Hill & Company in July 2007, spending six months working as a Paralegal before completing a Training Contract at the firm and qualifying as a solicitor in 2009.
In her spare time she enjoys socialising, travelling and eating out.
Alastair attended The Grange Grammar School in Hartford.
He then studied Law at Nottingham Trent University and also at Montpellier University in France.
Alastair then completed his Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law.
Alastair joined Hill and Company in January 2010.

Phillip attended Appleby Grammar School in Cumbria. He then read Law at Teeside University where in 2005 he achieved a Bachelor degree with honours (LL.B Hons).
Phillip then went on to complete his Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University where he graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Law (PGDip) in 2007.
Phillip was employed as a Paralegal from 2007 to 2008 within a specialist Personal Injury firm in Manchester where he gain experience in Personal Injury claims.
Phillip joined Hill and Company Solicitors in January 2009 as a Paralegal and became a Trainee Solicitor in June of the same year.
Phillip spent the majority of his time working in the Personal Injury department but also assists in other departments as part of the Law Society Training Contract requirements.
Now having qualified as a solicitor in January 2011 Phillip continues as an integral part of the Personal Injury team
In his spare time Phillip enjoys socialising, entertaining as well as a variety of other activities.
Natalie studied Law at Manchester Metropolitan University and she graduated in 2004.
Natalie then worked at Minshull Street Crown Court until she commenced the LPC at Liverpool John Moores University in 2006.
In 2007 Natalie started work at O’Neill Patient Solicitors in Hazel Grove as a case manager in the conveyancing and remortgage department.
In March 2009 she started at Hill and Co and has her own residential conveyancing caseload as well as assisting with the financial irregularity cases and the Probate department.
Natalie having qualified as a solicitor in 2011 continues to work in both the Conveyancing and Probate departments.
In her spare time she enjoys reading and fashion.
Rachel attended St Bedes College in Manchester.
She read Law at Leeds Metropolitan University where in 2008 She achieved a Bachelor degree with honours (LL.B Hons).
In 2010 Rachel completed Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University where She graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Law (PGDip).
She was employed as a Paralegal at Armstrongs in Liverpool before joining Hill and Company Solicitors in October 2010 as a Paralegal and became a Trainee Solicitor in May 2011.
Her hobbies include Travelling, having been to America, Asia and the Caribbean- next stop South America. She also enjoys reading, watching films and music. She has recently applied to volunteer at a homeless shelter in Stockport.
Julie attended Sale Girls’ Grammar School, thereafter South Trafford College and gained various office skills including Shorthand and RSA II typing and ECDL. (European Computer Driving Licence).
Following this she worked at Halifax Building Society as secretary/clerk.
Julie started at Hill and Company in March 2003 becoming office supervisor in 2009.
Her hobbies include reading, eating out and holistic therapies
Natalie attended Wellington Road School and then studied for a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Criminology at Leeds Metropolitan University.
She is currently attending Manchester Metropolitan University studying part time for a Graduate Diploma in Law (CPE).
Natalie worked at Ratio Money to September 2009 where she dealt with financial irregularity claims. Natalie started with Hill and Company Solicitors in late September 2009.
Her hobbies include shopping, socialising with friends and fashion.
